The classic Caesar salad recipe was invented in Mexico in 1924 by Caesar Cardini, an Italian who had some restaurants in Mexico and United States.
I get compliments every time when I make this classic Caesar salad recipe. The best choice even if is for lunch or dinner. Be brave enough and do the homemade Caesar salad dressing from scratch as you won’t regret a second.
Ingredients
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 egg yolk
- salt & pepper
- oil, depends on how much sauce you want to have
Instructions
In a bowl put the shredded garlic, 1teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce and salt and mix all together with a hand mixer.
Add 1 table spoon of lemon juice, the mustard, the egg yolk and pepper, if you like pepper you can add more than normal and for better taste use freshly ground pepper.

Mix all together and add the oil slowly and mix until takes the consistency of mayonnaise.
