This simple and fresh feta cheese salad is always a good idea no matter if is winter or summer. You’ll need just feta cheese, tomatoes and cucumber and it can be eaten just as a simple salad or as a garnish for a juicy beef stake, a pork steak or even a roasted chicken.
You can add whatever vegetables you want, you can also change the tomatoes or cucumbers if you don’t like them, and you can also change the feta cheese to another type of cheese. Also you can add chicken or another type of meat or croutons.
Being a salad, is very healthy and contains a lot of vitamins. By adding chicken, you also add protein.
Ingredients
- half of cucumber roughly chopped
- one vine of cherry tomatoes, roughly chopped
- 100g of feta cheese drained and cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoon of extra virgin oil
- sea salt & freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Put the cucumber and cherry tomatoes in a bowl.
Add the feta cheese on top, drizzle over the extra virgin oil, salt, pepper and mix slowly.
